Over three months ago!

I made whole wheat bread today!
We grilled it with sharp cheddar cheese and tomatoes (with salt and pepper) for dinner.

There should be a birthday card that says, “I hate buying cards and I think they’re pointless, but I like you so much that I’m getting you one anyway.”
I’d buy that card right now.
My husband says, “yeah, I would, too.”

Anonymous asked: you are incredibly attractive.
Oh thanks!
…This is so exciting; I never get anything in my “ask” box!

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Did you know that giant sequoias grow faster later in life than earlier in life?
Learn more about “The President”, the second most massive tree ever measured. It’s 27 feet wide at the bottom and 247 feet tall. It’s getting bigger at a rate that will surprise tree scholars (and lumber companies), who’ve long assumed that trees, like most living things, slow down as they age.”

45 Life Lessons
I changed the title of this because it initially said “45 Life Lessons, Written by a 90 Year Old” and then I looked it up, and that is incorrect. If you follow the link to http://www.reginabrett.com/about.php, you’ll see the author wrote this list when she turned 45. Anyway, it’s still a list of wonderful lessons.
1. Life isn’t fair, but it’s still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short not to enjoy it.
4. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and family will.
5. Don’t buy stuff you don’t need.
6. You don’t have to win every argument. Stay…

I am quite surprised (and so happy!) that Obama won this election (!!!) after Walker didn’t get recalled this past year. So happy.
